A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

How is the golden goose shoes fit?

I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.

Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.

Is the comfort worth it?

Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..

How do they perform over time?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Stunning.

Would you buy again?

Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also look great.

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid.

Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
